RAWALPINDI: Four unknown robbers shot dead two salesmen of a money changer shop and managed to escape from the scene here on Friday.
Talking to APP, Superintendent of Police (SP) Malik Matloob said that four robbers entered in a money changer shop at Raja Bazaar Shabbir Traderson motorcycles and killed two salemen. The money changer shop is owned by Sheikh Shabbir.
SP said that the robbers killed two persons but it is not clear whether they snatched money or not, investigation is underway, he added.
The dead persons were identified as Nadeem and Javed.
Meanwhile, police rushed to the crime scene and cordoned off the area.
The traders' body protested against the incident at Fawara chowk and demanded arrest of robbers and killers.
