ISLAMABAD: Spokesperson Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Shireen Mazari Wednesday said while the government still seems to be haunted by the PTI Dharna (sit-in), Imran Khan has also taken a serious toll on the government’s nerves.
In a media statement, the PTI spokesperson termed the election tribunal’s verdict the victory of Pakistani people.
The Faisalabad Election Tribunal recently ordered re-polls in NA-125 constituency where Khawaja Saad Rafique of Pakistan Muslim League-N had been declared winner in general elections of 2013.
She said it was not the PTI but the government itself that caused a delay to the Chinese president’s trip to Pakistan.
“It is the government’s incompetence that is be blamed for the declining economy of the country and the buck cannot be passed to Imran Khan for this,” she maintained.
