MUZAFFARABAD: National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq on Thursday said that he respects his post, therefore he remains silent on the issue of NA-122, but that should not be taken as a sign of weakness.
While talking to media in Muzaffarabad he said that the nation should wait on the court’s decision on NA-122 whereas he will not contact any judge to make his constituency controversial.
Sadiq went on to say that he has tried to raise his voice about the Kashmir issue on every forum possible.
He added that whether it was the Asian Parliamentary Speakers Association held in Turkey, or whether his meeting with Imam-e-Kaaba Shaikh Khalid al-Ghamidi, he spoke about the Kashmir issue.
