Police arrest gamblers in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: City Police have arrested gamblers and recovered bet money from their possession.

According to police, the Police raided a house located in Arya Mohallah, arrested 6 gamblers and recovered bet money of Rs 10,500 from their possession.

The gamblers identified as Arshad, Yawar,Manzoor, Bahdar Khan, Shaukat and Azam.

The operation against criminal elements has been launched on the directive of City Police Officer (CPO), Azhar Hameed Khokar.

Meanwhile, Rawalpindi police has arrested 19 criminals and recovered 6bottle of liquor, 7 pistols, 1 riffle and 24 round from their possession.

The Police have registered separate cases against the accused and started investigation.
