Shahbaz Taseer will be recovered soon: Rana Sanaullah

LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister, Rana Sanaullah said all entry and exit points of the city have been sealed following the kidnapping of Shahbaz Taseer, Geo News reported Friday.

The provincial law minister, while speaking to Geo News, added that all security agencies are investigating the kidnapping and a joint investigation team has been formed.

Rana Sanaullah said that following the murder of former governor Punjab, Salman Taseer, his family along with Shahbaz had been provide with a police escort for their protection. However, Shahbaz would not keep his police escort with him at all times.

According to Rana Sanaullah, the police escort provided to Shahbaz was at his residence at the time of his kidnapping and not traveling with him.
