Two more dengue patients in Multan

MULTAN: Two more patients of dengue fever were admitted to Nishtar hospital here on Sunday.

According to hospital sources, Bilal Khan (36) of Barkhan district (Balochistan) and Zoneer (20) of model town, DG Khan were brought to hospital and after laboratory tests, the results were found positive.

Another dengue patient, Mehr Sajjad Hussain is already under treatment in hospital.

While two other dengue patients, Mureed Abbas and Muhammad Abbas were admitted to hospital but they left hospital on the plea
of visiting homes and did not return yet, sources added.

According to our DG Khan's correspondent, a woman Hajran Bibi
patient suffering from dengue fever died in hospital.

The hospital sources said, Hajran Bibi, resident of Sameena Chowk was brought to hospital for emergency treatment but she died after two days. In DG Khan, total five patients of dengue were admitted to District Headquarters hospital.

The people protested over the situation and claimed that there was no specific diagnosing and treatment facilities for dengue virus patients. The social circles have called for taking all necessary measures to provide timely treatment facilities to dengue fever patients at public sector hospitals. (APP)
