Rawalpindi police cop a couple of burglars

RAWALPINDI: City Police has arrested two thieves here on Sunday in the jurisdiction of Police Station Sadiqabad.

Giving the detail, Station House Officer (SHO) Malik Muhammad Khan
said that both the thieves entered a house located in Magistrate Colony and took a family hostage at gunpoint and looted Rs14,000 and a mobile set.

Soon thereafter, the women raised hue and cry.

Hearing the noise, the people of the area came out in the street and chased the thieves with the help of police patrol and succeeded in capturing the thieves.

The thieves were identified as Shahbaz and Akram. SHO said that they
had committed many thefts in the past. (APP)
