Punjab Police has fired a lady constable whose TikTok videos over songs went viral on social media, Geo News reported Friday.

According to details, constable Wafa Tauqeer used to make TikTok videos on songs as a hobby which caught the attention of her superiors after one of her videos went viral on the internet.

After seeing this, an officer at the rank of DSP ordered an inquiry into her actions and fired her after “accusations” against the lady officer were “proven true”.

On the other hand, Tauqeer has alleged that she has been treated unfairly and shared that she did like to make videos but “kept her in phone only”.

She added that the videos that had gone viral were made eight months ago during training and she does not know whether they were leaked or not.
