Health Department sources said the campaign would continue in the district, headed by six teams of 114 health officials.
EDO Health Dr Inam-ul-Haq said 59 patients were admitted to government hospitals in the city in which 39 tested positive for dengue.
He said 16 dengue patients were under treatment in public hospitals.
