Sana Mir’s hat-trick leads Pakistan to victory against Sri Lanka
SHARJAH: Pakistan captain Sana Mir picked up an impressive hat-trick, leading the women cricket team to victory against Sri Lanka by 55 runs in the second Twenty20 on Friday.

Mir gave a solid all-round performance, scoring 48 runs with the bat as well as the hat-trick.

The Pakistani side initially stumbled with a disappointing start with the bat, with four wickets falling at only 54 runs.

But the captain stuck at the crease responsibly, leading the batting side to 124 runs for six wickets.

Jovairia Khan scored 25 runs with the bat.

The Sri Lankan batting line-up was unable to face an impressive spell by Sana Mir, losing all wickets at only 69 runs.

Mir picked up four wickets in quick succession. Bisma Maroof took two wickets.

The three-match T20 series has now been leveled 1-1. The Pakistan team has already whitewashed the ODI series against Sri Lanka.
