FAISALABAD: The district administration in its initial report has blamed speeding and excessive passengers for the school bus crash in which 34 including 29 students died, Geo News reported.
Further details of the accident provided by the Faisalabad district administration reveal that the owners of the bus obtained permission by lying that they were taking a wedding from Faisalabad to Sargodha. The initial accident report also states that the bus used was not the model which is allowed to travel on the motorway.
The tragic accident took place when the bus with students on board overturned near Kallar Kahar Chakwal on the motorway. It was initially reported that the reason for the accident was brake failure.
