12 dengue fever suspects admitted
ISLAMABAD: Coordinator, Dengue Control and Surveillance, Islamabad, Dr. Najeebullah Durrani has said that 12 dengue fever suspect patients have been admitted in the city's hospitals during the last 24 hours.

He said that out of these 12 patients, eight patients belong to Islamabad, two from rural area and six from the urban area.

According to details, twelve dengue fever suspect patients have been admitted in the city' hospitals during the last 24 hours, out of which eight patients belong to Islamabad and the remaining four are from Rawalpindi and Azad Jammu Kashmir.

He said that the percentage of patients from other cities remained 33 per cent.

He said that seven dengue suspect patients have been admitted in the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, three in the Polyclinic and two in Shifa International during the last 24 hours.

Dr.Najeebullah Durrani said that the fumigation in the rural areas of Islamabad is udnerway. He has appealed to the citizens to follow the preventive and precautionary measures.
