KARACHI: Multan Tigers defeated Afghanistan Cheetas by four wickets in the first match of the sixth day of the Faysal Bank National Twenty20 Cup here at the National Stadium on friday, Geo News reported.
After winning the toss, the Cheetas decided to bat first and made 131 runs for nine wickets.
Captain Muhammed Nabi scored 34 runs for the Cheetas while Naveed Yasin claimed four wickets for the Tigers.
In reply, Multan Tigers reached 135-5 and opener Zain Abbas scored 54 runs.
This was Multan Tigers first win in the tournament.
