QUETTA: At least six people including two security personnel have been injured in an attack on Quetta-bound Quetta Express train near Mangoli area of Jaffarabad district late night between Saturday and Sunday.
"Unknown armed men opened fire at Quetta Express, injuring six people including two security personnel," police told APP.
The injured were rushed to Dera Murad Jamali civil hospital.
The Police said that two injured security personnel would be referred to Jacobabad civil hospital due to their critical condition.
However, condition of four injured passengers was told to be out of danger.
Law enforcement personnel rushed to the site and cordon off the entire area and launched search operation.
It is mentioned here that Pakistan Railways authorities allowed the train to continue journey to Quetta despite threat of attack in late night. (APP)
