ISLAMABAD: Ministers from the PML-Q submitted their resignations to the party leadership, saying they had no faith no faith in the government, Geo News reported on Tuesday.
The parliamentary party of the PML-Q met at the residence of Chaudhry Shujaat where, according to sources, senior leader Ameer Muqam said the government had destroyed the country. Muqam advised that the ministers should resign which was endorsed by other leaders.
Those who tendered their resignations include Faisal Saleh Hayat, Sheikh Waqas Akram, Riaz Pirzada, Pervaiz Elahi, Wajahat Hussain, Ghous Buksh Mehar, and Ameer Muqam. Party president Chaudhry Shujaat said that he would ask the Prime Minister to call an All Parties Conference on the issue of the power crisis.
