QUETTA: Security arrangements have been made stringent, following the firing incident in Kali Akhtarabad of the provincial capital city here, while over 70 persons have been arrested during raids.
A senior police official told Geo News that security arrangements have been tightened, following yesterday target killing of the Hazara community at Kali Akhtarabad. Police, FC and Balochistan Constabulary contingents are taking rounds of the city, while the concerned SHO and DSP have been directed to continue patrolling during Hazara community’s movements in the area in a bid to avert any untoward incident.
While police and Frontier Corp in their joint operations arrested over 70 persons from Saryab Road, Chaki Shahwani, Khrotabad, Western By-pass and its adjoining areas and have started interrogations after shifting them to an unknown place.
