Another park to be built in Rawalpindi: Commissioner

RAWALPINDI: The government is making efforts for the promotion of healthy activities and besides upgrading the exiting parks, a new one will be set up with modern facilities, said Commissioner Rawalpindi Zahid Saeed.

Talking to newsmen, the Commissioner, the new park would be built on 96-kanal land, which had been provided by the Civil Aviation Authority.

The park would have all facilities to entertain the general public. A mini zoo, beautiful fountains and swings would be the main features of the park.

He said that the construction of the park would start very soon. Hefty amount is being spent for the renovation and decoration of exiting parks, he added.
