LAHORE: Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan Sunday urged Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif to declare his assets if he was really determined to root out corruption from the country, Geo News reported.
Addressing the convocation of Bradford University, the TI Chief said 'a good news for the nation is the next elections will trigger the Tsunami of Tehree-e-Insaf that will wipe out all (corruption/ corrupt elements) from the country'.
He vowed that his party would not use grand governor houses, PM House and other such 'Mahals'. Three times more will be spent on education and health sectors in the country, he promised.
Imran Khan reiterated that PPP and PML-N only put up a false display of fight. First the PML-N acted as a backbone for Zardari on the pretext of democracy and now it suddenly remembered that there is corruption in the country, he argued.
He asked 'why PML-N does not resign in the assemblies?'
The TI Chief said the assets that Mian Nawaz Sharif declared was equal to the monthly expenses of the 'Raiwind fortress'.
