KHAIRPUR: The law and order situation in Khairpur, the home district of Sindh chief minister has worsened as at least15 people including five women were killed during last 12 days in various parts of the district.
The people of the district are panicked as the law enforcement agencies have failed to maintain law and order.
The murdered persons include Gulab Jagirani, Ali Sher Jagirani, Yasin Jagirani and Saeed Ujjan of Khuhra area, Siddique Kandhro, his wife Hajran Kandhro, Ms. Tasleem Kandhro and Pathan Kandhro were killed in the jurisdiction of Kotdiji police station, Ms. Naeema Deper and Muhammad Nawaz Saheto were killed in Gambat city, four people of a family including Sadaruddin Narejo, Ms. Marvi, Rozeena Narejo and Suhino Narejo were killed in Ranipur city while Muhammad Murad Rind was killed near Khaki Shah bridge Khairpur.
Moreover, four abducted people of Khairpur including Imran Ali Siddiqui, Ayaz Ali, Sadam and Ahmed Ali Pathan are still hostages and the kidnappers have demanded ransom of millions rupees from their relatives.
