Two arrested; NATO tanker recovered

QUETTA: Saranan police have arrested two suspects and recovered a NATO oil tanker from their possession in Qila Abdullah district, said police sources on Wednesday.

"A gang of criminals had snatched oil tanker carrying fuel for NATO forces stationed in Afghanistan from the driver on gunpoint near Kuchlak town," police said adding that acting on a tip-off, Saranan police conducted raid at a place in Syed Hamid Cross area and arrested two suspects besides recovering snatched vehicle from their possession.

The accused were identified as Pir Muhammad and Abdul Wahab. A police team has been interrogating the suspects. (APP)
