Body formed to probe medicine theft
LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has constituted a five-member committee for investigation of pilferage of medicines from government hospitals.

The committee will take legal action against people involved in such activities and it will also investigate the cases of spurious drugs.

A spokesman of the health department informed that the committee would give its report after every three days to the CM's Secretariat for information of the chief minister Punjab.

Khawaja Salman Rafique MPA will be the chairman of the committee while DIG Mubasher Ullah, Special Secretary Health, Director Anti Corruption Lahore and Drug Inspector Ravi Town Lahore will be members of the committee. (APP)
