ISLAMABAD: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has allowed the power distribution companies a substantial raise of Rs3.04 per unit in their tariffs under monthly fuel adjustment charges, Geo News reported.
The power distribution companies had requested for a raise of Rs3.06 per unit on the plea to make good the loss due to high cost of furnace oil being used for the generation of electricity.
Nepra after hearing of their plea today allowed them to enhance their tariffs by Rs3.04 for the month of August, which would be recovered from the customers in the next month’s bills
