On the complaint of the Deputy Superintendent, Prison Binyamin Khan Miankhel, the police station concerned has registered FIR against unknown persons.
The house of the prison official was attacked with a hand grenade while another explosive material of 20 kilogram was defused.
The police have arrested six suspects from Multan Road.
