11 injured in Hafizabad school van accident

HAFIZABAD: The carelessness of a school van driver resulted in an accident injuring eleven children here on Monday, Geo News reported. The injured students were shifted to District Headquarter Hospital.

According to police, the accident occurred due to over speeding as the driver failed to control the vehicle while taking a turn and it fell into a ravine.

Out of 22 children, 11 got hurt in as a result of the accident while the driver succeeded in escaping from the scene.

Rescue teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to District Headquarter Hospital, Hafizabad.

The injured students are out of danger while the parents started reaching the hospital after the incident.
