HYDERABAD: The Controller Examination, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Hyderabad Tuesday announced the results of Higher Secondary Certificate Part-II Humanities and Commerce Groups Annual Examinations 2011

According to announcement, Rida Saeed d/o Saeed Ahmed of Government Nazareth Girls College Hyderabad, Sumia Nourain d/o Muhammad Yousuf of Government Girls College Badin and Jabina Kausar d/o Khalid Pervaiz of Workers Intermediate College for Girls SITE Kotri have clinched first, second and third positions respectively both among boys and girls in Humanities Group Regular and Private candidates.

A total of 6,473 regular and private candidates including 2,453 girls appeared in the examinations and of them 5,576 including 2,138 girls have been declared pass in the examinations.

Among 5,576 passed candidates, no candidate has clinched A-I Grade marks in the examinations while only 25 candidates including18 girls have been declared pass with A grade marks. 1,198 candidates including 541 girls have secured B grade marks, 3,247 candidates including 1,234 girls have been declared pass with C grade marks and 1,093 candidates including 430 girls have passed their examinations with D grade marks.

In Commerce Group Examinations, Syed Muhammad Sarmad s/o Syed Tariq Hussain of Government Ghazali College Latifabad, Khuram s/o Mir Muhammad Zatoon of Government S.I. College Hala and Syed Salman Zia s/o Syed Zia Uddin of Saifee College of Computer Science Latifabad have clinched first, second and third positions among boys while Rabia d/o Muhammad Abbas of Foundation Public Higher Secondary School Latifabad and Maryum Mehmood d/o Mehmood-ul-Haq of Workers Intermediate College for Girls SITE Kotri have secured first and second positions respectively among girls with Nayab Aslam d/oMuhammad Aslam of Government Shah Latif Girls College Latifabad and Munazza Sultana d/o Abdul Razzaq Khan of Government Degree Girls College Latifabad who jointly stood on third.

A total of 1,301 candidates including 365 girls appeared in the examinations of them 1,056 candidates including 322 girls have been declared pass. No candidate has secured A-I grade marks while five candidates including two girls have been declared pass with A grade marks.

Besides, 210 candidates including 111 girls have secured B grade marks, 555 candidates including 151 girls have been declared pass with C grade marks and 284 candidates including 57 girls have secured D grade marks in the examinations. (APP)
