Driver hurt, container torched

QUETTA: Unknown armed men set ablaze a container and injured its driver in Dasht area of Mastung on Tuesday.

According to Levies Force, two Chanman-bound containers carrying goods from Lahore were intercepted by armed assailants, who besides opeining fire set one of them ablaze and took away Rs 300,000 in cash, mobile phones and valuables from drivers. The container was fully gutted.

Muhmmad Irfan, driver, sustained seriously injuries during firing.He was was rushed to a hospital.

The Levies Force registered a case and launched operation to trace out the suspects.
