Aftab Sultan appointed DG IB

ISLAMABAD: Additional Inspector General of Police, Finance & Welfare, Punjab, Aftab Sultan has been appointed Director General Intelligence Bureau (IB), Islamabad. Recently, he had been promoted in grade 22.

Aftab Sultan joined Police service as an ASP in 1977. After getting promotion as SP, he served in Special Branch, District Police and as Course Commander, National Police Academy, Islamabad.

He also served as a deputy inspector general of Police, in Police Headquarters, Punjab, Elite Police Force and Sargodha Range. Later, he was promoted as Addl IGP Police and up till know he is serving in Finance & Welfare Department.
