LAHORE: Another four people died of dengue fever in different city hospitals on Saturday, raising the death toll to 287.
Aslam, 50-year-old of Allama Iqbal Town was under treatment at a special dengue ward of the Ganga Ram Hospital breathed his last while Shakeel (33) of Jaranwala perished at Mayo Hospital. Imran and Abdur Rashid died at the Services Hospital.
According to the health department figures, some 242 new dengue cases are reported, raising total number of patients upto 18,304 in Punjab while 199 new dengue cases have been reported in Lahore.
