SHEIKHUPURA: An overloaded passenger bus at Sangla Safdarabad road in the city area here overturned killing seven persons and over forty wounded, Geo News reported.
The passenger bus was on way to way to Lahore from Sangla Hill, when near Manga Dogra on Sangla road the tie rod of the overloaded bus being untied went out of control and overturned, throwing several persons beneath the bus and killing seven among them on the spot.
Among the dead included Ghulam Hussain, Usman, Anwar, Ghulam Sarwar Numberdar and others. The injured were shifted to the Faruqabad and Lahore hospitals, where some of them reported to be in critical conditions.
