Rechecking of 1st-yr papers starts
RAWALPINDI: Chairman Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi (BISER) Dr. Muhammad Qasim has said that special centers set up for rechecking of Intermediate part-I papers has started work.

Talking to APP, he said that the task would be completed within stipulated time frame and the result would be announced within 45 days period as the centers are working round the clock.

He informed that there is no rechecking fee in this regard and the rechecking process particularly for Intermediate part-I papers is continuing from Oct 25.

He said that the entire Intermediate part-I result would be prepared again as the result announced earlier has been cancelled.

To a question he said that the papers are being rechecked according to
the old procedure and answer sheets of the students are thoroughly being rechecked and examined by the examiners so that no error could emerge again.

He informed that heads of public and private educational institutions have also been taken into confidence in this regard. If any person concerned wanted to see the rechecking process, he can contact chairman BISE in this regard.

The chairman informed that the special cell presents performance report on the daily basis.

Chairman BISE said that all out efforts would be made to facilitate the students.

To a question he said that complete first year result would be prepared again.

He said, Intermediate part-II students, who wanted re-checking of their papers are also being facilitated and they can submit a simple application without any fee in this regard. (APP)
