150 students booked for protest at Sargodha

SARGODHA, Oct 29 (APP): Satellite Town police registered a case against 150 students for instigating others to protest against the Sargodha Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.

Hundred of students on Friday had staged a protest rally against delay in results and errors in the intermediate part-I exams in front of the board and chanted slogans against the Punjab government and the board administration.

The booked students included Islami Jamiat Tulba (IJT) Nazim Umer Farooq Azeem and PSF Presidnet Kamran Warriach and arrested the IJT Nazim in a raid on Saturday.
Meanwhile, dozens of students of IJT on Saturday staged a protest demonstration against the arrest of Umer Farooq at Chungi No.9 and blocked the road.--APP
