LAHORE: PML-N Senator Pervaiz Rasheed said that the rallies are never a flop show, they are always successful but the election results would decide about the real leader, Geo News reported Monday. He said that public participation in rallies is a sign that they want to see a change now.
The PML-N senator was commenting on PTI chairman Imran Khan's rally and said that in politics, only voters decide about their leader unlike cricket.
Rasheed said that Imran Khan should launch a civil disobedience movement against loadshedding instead of asking politicians to declare assets. He said that a law is already present to declare assests as the candidates have to file assets' details along with the nomination papers in the Election Commission of Pakistan.
When asked about the number of people gathered in Imran Khan's rally, he said that less than 50,000 people participated in the rally.
