QUETTA: The railway employees in the provincial capital city here went on a strike protesting against acute financial crisis due to alleged astronomical corruptions in railway that has delayed departures of all the trains to upcountry, Geo News reported.
The departures of Jaffar Express for Rawalpindi, Quetta Express for Peshawar and Bolan Mail for Karachi failed get into effect due to the agitating railway employees strike against bankruptcy and the lethal corruption in the organization.
Railway employees said that the electricity connections of the railway colonies besides other departments have also been cut off for non-payments to Qesco by their cash-starved organization.
On the other hand, the passengers are facing great difficulties due to the railway employees’ strike.
