CM visits historic places in Sheraz

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti along with his entourage paid a visit to historical places in the city of Sheraz, the other day.

He visited the palace of former King of Iran Jamshed to see the remnants of his throne. On this occasion, he was briefed about the history of these ruins and the steps taken so far by the Iranian Government for its preservation.

Later, he visited the Shrines of Persian famous poets Sheikh Saadi, Sherzada and Hafiz Sherazi.

He mixed up with the people and himself apprised the poetry, messages and its effect on the Iranian people.

Deputy Governor of Sheraz Dr. Mohammad Zamanian, Consul General Hassan Darvesh Vend, Senior Minister Bashir Ahmad Bilour, Minister Information, Mian Iftikhar Hussein and other members of delegation were accompanying him.

The chief Minister evinced keen interest in these historical places. (APP)
