Siraj, Wasan, Mazhar, Bhurgri are corrupt: Mirza
KARACHI: Former Sindh home minister Dr. Zulfiqar Mirza Saturday claimed that a meeting held in the past in Governor House in Karachi had decided that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) would have 40 share (in the bounty) while Pakistan People's Party would get 60 percent, Geo News reported.

Speaking via telephone in Geo News programme "Lekin", Dr. Mirza alleged that Agha Siraj Durrani, Manzoor Wasan, Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq and Zahid Bhurgry 'are all corrupt and today is a happy day because it marks the end of local government system' in Sindh.

"I congratulate the people of Sindh on their moral win over restoration of Commissionerate System," he said.

He urged the PPP and its government to listen to the cries of the people and that no attempt be made to bring an interim set up.

The former Sindh home minister also alleged that millions of rupees were either embezzled or misappropriated under the Local Government System while lands were illegally occupied. He ruled out delivery of service to the people under LG system.

He said he was inviting the Interior Minister Rehman Malik to bring corruption cases against himself.
