LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain has demanded of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to impose martial law in Sindh for the safety of life and property of people.
He said the Sindh government has failed in maintaining peace in the city as killing of innocent people in Karachi was on the rise.
He demanded of the prime minister to issue arm licenses to citizens if martial law couldn’t be enforced.
Altaf Hussain said that unpopular steps became necessary for the protection of people.
