CNG transport to be started in Faisalabad: CM

FAISALABAD: The Punjab government will start CNG Public Transport Service in Faisalabad like Lahore.

In this connection, the government will provide investment while the business community will look after the project.

This was stated by Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif while addressing a meeting at the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI) here on Wednesday.

He said initially 150 buses would be provided for CNG Public Transport Service which will start in Faisalabad within next 3-4 months.

The Chief Minister had announced parking plazas at designated sites and said the Punjab government would bear expenditures of the project, he added. (APP)
