PPP acts against Mirza supporters
KARACHI: Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Sindh president Qaim Ali Shah said the membership of MPA Imdad Pitafi from the party has been suspended and President Asif Zardari who is also the co-chairman of the party has summoned Information Minister Sharjeel Memon, Geo News reported.

Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah was addressing a press conference here today. The CM said former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza has no relation with the party and condemned his statements. 'Some people are backstabbing the party and it would not be tolerated.'

Information Sindh Sharjeel Memon and MPA Imdad Pitafi accompanied Zulfiqar Mirza to London.

PPP Sindh president Qaim said all members have been directed to stay away from Mirza or face music.

'We are with MQM chief Altaf Hussain and would continue to work with him. Both parties would contest elections jointly.'
