PPP decides to show full support to Maryam Nawaz during NAB appearance

• PPP and PML-N are on a road to reconciliation as PPP has announced to participate in Lahore’s rally on March 26.
• The rally will show support to Maryam Nawaz on her appearance at NAB's office.
• Kaira has also asked all the PPP workers and leaders to ensure their presence outside the offices of the NAB Lahore.

ISLAMABAD: PPP and PML-N are on a road to reconciliation as PPP has announced to participate in Lahore’s rally on March 26 when Maryam Nawaz Sharif will appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), The News reported on Thursday

In a statement, President PPP central Punjab Qamar Zaman Kaira, announced PPP’s decision, saying: “I will lead the PPP outside the offices of the NAB Lahore on March 26 as per the decision of the Pakistan Democratic Movement."

Kaira also asked all the PPP workers and leaders to ensure their presence on March 26 outside the offices of the NAB Lahore.

NAB has summoned PML-N vice president in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills and Raiwind land cases on March 26.

In the call-up notice issued on March 18, the anti-graft body alleged that 1,500 Kanal land was illegally transferred to Maryam Nawaz in Jati Umra with the help of bureaucracy.

According to a NAB notification, the Sharif family had acquired 3,500 Kanal land in 2013 and got the master plan of Lahore changed in 2015 in connivance with the relevant officials.
