Prime Minister Imran Khan took to Instagram on Thursday to post a work from home picture after he tested positive for coronavirus last week.

The prime minister's aide Dr Faisal Sultan had taken to Twitter to announce last week that PM Imran Khan had tested positive for the virus.

The development had taken place only a couple of days after the premier got the coronavirus jab.

In the Instagram photo, PM Imran can be seen sitting on a chair, wearing a mask as he holds a red book in his hand.

It is not clear which book the prime minister is reading.

The picture successfully amassed more than 27,000 likes in less than half an hour since it was posted on Imran Khan's Instagram account.

"Working from home," the caption read.
