Lobbies active for Sindh information minister post

KARACHI: Various lobbies from Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) were active for the office of Sindh Information Minister after resign of Sharjeel Inam Memon from the post, sources said.

According to the sources, the decision regarding the appointment of Sindh Information Minister would be taken today.

Expected candidate for the post included Sharmila Faooqui and Shazia Marri, sources said adding that Chief Minister himself could also take an additional charge of Information Minister.

Sources added that the notification in this regard could be issued by midday today.
