Nurses rally for pay raise

MULTAN: Nurses from different hospitals on Monday took out a rally and staged a sit-in at commissioner office against the provincial government for not increasing their salaries. Nurses from Children Hospital, Civil Hospital, Nishtar Hospital and other hospitals took out a rally from Nishtar Hospital to commissioner office.

They tried to enter the commissioner office but police stopped them.

The demonstrators were carrying banners and placards and chanting slogans for their demands. They demanded the provincial government increase their salaries and provide them other facilities like nurses working under the federal government. (APP)
