Qureshi says memo scandal should be investigated

LAHORE: Former Foreign Minister, Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the memo scandal is a serious matter and should be investigated until those behind it are revealed.

Qureshi was speaking to the media following his meeting with PML-N president Nawaz Sharif.

He added that Husian Haqqani did the right thing by resigning and was now in a better position to face an inquiry.

The former foreign minister who is embarking on a brand new political career added that he was being barred from holding a public gathering in Ghotki.

Qureshi said that his political line of action will come to fore in Ghotki on Nov 27.

He further added that he will very soon meet with Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan.

He demanded of the political leadership to hold a self-governing election commission.
