After achieving the number one position in the ODI rankings, Pakistan captain Babar Azam is now eying the same spot in the Test rankings.
In a statement, issued by PCB, Babar said he felt "privileged and honoured" to have joined the company of Pakistani batting greats Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad and Mohammad Yousuf.
He added that the three will always be the shining stars of Pakistan cricket.
The skipper said if he wants to hold on to the milestone he has achieved like Sir Vivian Richards and Virat Kohli then will have to work harder and be consistent with the bat.

“I have also previously topped the T20I rankings, but the ultimate ambition and goal is to lead the Test rankings, which are the real testament and reward to a batsman’s calibre, reputation and skills," said Babar.
He shared that he understands that to achieve the objective he will have to "perform consistently" against top sides.
“I am looking forward to this challenge and remain confident I will be able to accomplish this target with the support of my team-mates and coaching staff," said the skipper.
