HYDERABAD: The Sindh Government has allotted 50 acres of land for Sindh University Campus Dadu.

A University spokesman informed here on Thursday evening that a meeting in this respect was held under the chairmanship of Sindh Chief Secretary Raja Muhammad Abbass on Wednesday which was attended by the concerned officers from Board of Revenue.

Deputy Commissioner Dadu Dr Niaz Ali Abassi, Sindh University Campus Dadu's Pro Vice Chancellor Dr Anwar Ali Shah, Director Estates of the University Muhammad Usman Mangi also attended the meeting, the spokesman said and added that the Pro Vice Chancellor of the Campus briefed the meeting about the requirement of land for the construction of Campus building.

He also submitted a request to the Sindh Chief Secretary for release of approved funds for the campus.

The Chief Secretary directed the concerned department for immediate release of approved funds for Dadu Campus.

The spokesman informed that Sindh University Campus Dadu has been established under the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has approved an amount of Rs 99.465 million for establishment of the Campus.
