ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has written a letter to Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry and requested him to hear the Bhutto reference case, Geo News reported.
According to sources in the letter the President called the murder of former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto a judicial murder and the worst step in the country’s judicial history.
The Bhutto reference case has been pending since June 2011.
