ISLAMABAD: The commission tasked with investigating the US raid in Abbottabad in which Al-qaeda leader Osama bin Laden was killed has summoned former ambassador Husain Haqqani on December 14, Geo News reported.
The meeting of the commission will be chaired by Justice (retired) Javed Iqbal.
According to the spokesperson for the commission, the statement of PML-N leader Khawaja Asif will also be recorded during the meeting.
Sources add the decision to summon Haqqani was on the request of Khawaja Asif and there would be no need to call former army officials.
