Chaman border closed for NATO supplies

QUETTA: Pak-Afghan Friendship gate on Pak-Afghan border in Chaman remained closed for NATO supplies on Monday.

Police said that Pakistan border officials did not allow containers and tankers carrying supplies and fuel respectively for NATO forces to enter in Afghanistan.

However, other vehicles were allowed to cross the border from both sides.

It is pertinent to mention here that on the directives of the government, the Chaman border was closed for NATO supplies after the its forces' helicopters attacked and killed Pakistani security forces officials and personnel inside the Pakistani jurisdiction.
