KARACHI: Mohajir Quami Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) chairman, Afaq Ahmed has been detained for 30 days under the Maintenance of Public Order, Geo News reported.
A notification in this regard was issued by the Home Ministry Sindh.
Earlier on Tuesday an Anti-Terrorism court in Karachi had issued the release orders for Ahmed.
The MQM-H chairman was formally arrested on October 6, 2011 in a case pertaining to the kidnapping of Jameel Ahmed for ransom.
