QUETTA: Civil society leaders have demanded of the government to check menace of sale of narcotics in the provincial capital.
In a press release issued here on Tuesday, Hasan Achakzai, president Hamdard Welfare Foundation lamented that hundreds of youths had become drug addicts and they could be seen taking drugs in and around main storm water nullahs passing through the city. He said that main commercial areas of the city including Jinnah road, Kasi road, Regal Plaza and others have become hub of narcotics sale.
He said that no attention was being paid to improve sewerage system condition of the city which had caused problems for passersby. (APP)
